“The Darcys and the Duke” will be published in late December. Look for it. But first have you read the first two in this six part series about Elizabeth, Darcy and the rest of the P & P cast? If not get your copy or go the kindle and read “The Luck of Fitzwilliam Darcy” and “The Darcys Return to Pemberley.” Then you will be ready for the next installment of this romantic adventure.
PS Just in case you have forgotten three other novels about our favorite couple by Glenna Mason — “Mr. Darcy and the Lady with the Fine Eyes”, “The Foreboding of Fitzwilliam Darcy” and “The Pleasure of Mr. Darcy’s Love” are also awaiting your “fine eyes.”
I have, as author Glenna Mason, self-published two new novels, which are the beginning of a five part PRIDE AND PREJUDICE variation series. They have all the wonderful and not so wonderful P and P characters, plus new ones created to forward the life of Darcy and Elizabeth as a couple. Read the two which are published please. They are THE LUCK OF FITZWILLIAM DARCY and THE DARCYS RETURN TO PEMBERLEY. The third in the series, THE DARCYS AND THE DUKE, will be published in September.
Next week, the week of July the 10th, I shall publish the second of my Millicent/Lute mystery/romance series. It is OF THE GLEN. Look for it on Amazon soon. You will enjoy the romance and be intrigued by the couple’s search for the serial killer attacking coeds from central Kentucky universities. As you know, Millicent is a professor at one of those universities, EKU. Her students are threatened; she just has to react. And of course Lute must help her and protect her.
If you haven’t read the initial Millicent/Lute mystery romance, IN THE RAFTERS, please do so. It introduces the characters, the romance and involves stolen thoroughbreds and murder. You will like it.
I have just begun a new set of Pride and Prejudice variations, which will have not only our beloved characters, but some new friends and associates as well. Of course the nemeses will be found in the pages as usual also.
The first in this three or four part series is in print and on kindle. It is The Luck of Fitzwilliam Darcy. Just check on kindle or Amazon or under the pen name Glenna Mason.
In the first installment our heroes and heroines meet and several fall in love. You’ll have to read the variation to see how that turns out for each character. But just so you know, all the Bennet sisters, the Bingleys and the Darcys and their cousins put in an appearance. Of course no work would be complete without their aunts and uncles and Mr. Collins and George Wickham.
My newest Pride and Prejudice novel is the first of a three part sequel. The novel is The Luck of Fitzwilliam Darcy. It was so much fun to write, and I created some new characters to add to Jane Austen’s marvelous collection, so I just didn’t want to let them go. Hence the trifecta. I have completed the second of the trio also. I will publish it in the summer. The Luck of Fitzwilliam Darcy is going to be out on Amazon and kindle by the middle or last of next week, the first week of February. Please look it up and read it and give me MARVELOUS REVIEWS.
For the most part the luck of Fitzwilliam is good, but he has his share of bad luck too: naturally a run in with Wickham, the normal harrowing episodes of Caroline, with a few Lydia episodes thrown in. The good luck I’ll let you discover.
It was a struggle but my son and I finally successfully completed the publishing of “Darcy Meets Elizabeth in Kentucky” on Amazon (print copies) and kindle. Try it out and give me a review. I am interested to know your reaction to my putting my two favorite characters into the setting of my favorite place on earth in the twenty-first century. It is a mystery and a romance, so there is something for everyone. ENJOY!
I have decided to make a bold step and turn my mysteries into” Pride and Prejudice” variations. It is simple really — well somewhat simple. I have to move their love story from Regency into the twenty first century.
It has been fun. I am confident that you will like the result. The first in the series, “Darcy Meets Elizabeth in Kentucky” is a re-write of my mystery/romance “In the Rafters”. Again 17 thoroughbreds are stolen and Elizabeth takes up the challenge. She meets Darcy along the way under strange and suspicious circumstances. But, as all romances should unfold, the two fall in love. Then they are thrust into a murder investigation. As a couple, they attempt to solve it. All this and Kentucky too.
In the twentieth century, Darcy’s mother’s grandfather and grandmother and Elizabeth’s mother settled in Kentucky. As the story opens, Elizabeth and Darcy live in two separate Kentucky communities, but mysterious circumstances and a common love for horses throw them together.
The Pleasure of Mr. Darcy’s Love is finally available on kindle and in print on Amazon. Check it out. I just love this P&P variation. It is my best. I hope you agree.
My latest P & P variation, “The Pleasure of Mr. Darcy’s Love,” is ready for the printers. I am only waiting for the artist to have time to do the front cover. She estimated she could get to it by the end of April and that date is only a couple of days away, so I now figure to get it out to all my faithful Jane Austen fans/readers in mid-May now.
It is my favorite, and so I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
As I mentioned earlier in a former post, Amazon does not help the writer market mysteries. There are just too many out there. You will like “In the Rafters.” It is a mystery/romance set in central Kentucky horse country. It is the first of six Millicent/Lute mystery/romances I have already written and I need to get it attention so I can then publish the others.
Readers, help! You will love my series. To find it on Amazon (print or kindle) use the title as follows: “In the Rafters/ A Millicent/Lute Mystery/Romance”. Using that title expedites your search, since just posting “In the Rafters” seems to lead to all sorts of entries on Google for some inscrutable reason. Thanks in advance for your review. I look forward to reading them. ENJOY!
A shout out to the readers of Pride and Prejudice variations! I have a new variation in the works. I intend to publish (on kindle and Amazon print) “The Pleasure of Mr. Darcy’s Love” in March or April. I am just now commissioning the cover and the artist is one busy lady. However, since I loved the cover she did for me for “Mr. Darcy’s Foreboding”, I intend to wait to get moved up on her schedule. If you haven’t read my first two, get them. The first is titled “Mr. Darcy and the Lady with the Fine Eyes.” You’ll love it.
For the present, I have a question: are any of you mystery readers? I have written six mysteries also. The first, “In the Rafters”, is on kindle and in print on Amazon. I published it in late November. Please read it and write a review. It seems that there are so many mysteries printed every month that most get lost in the numbers. I need to get reviews to get attention. It is a delightful mystery/romance, set in Kentucky horse country.
